In this guide, we compare four skydiving operators to consider when planning your jump, looking at location, scenery, tandem experiences and facilities.
1. Official Skydive Thailand — Skydiving with Gulf of Thailand Views
Best for: Travellers seeking a scenic tandem skydiving experience
Official Skydive Thailand takes the top spot in this guide for its advertised combination of high-altitude tandem jumps, coastal scenery and options for both beginners and experienced skydivers.
Located in Chakphong, Klaeng District, Rayong, the operator advertises tandem skydiving from 13,000 feet, offering a memorable opportunity to experience freefall with views of the Gulf of Thailand and surrounding islands.
Why consider Official Skydive Thailand?
- Scenic coastal views: Experience the advertised panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand and surrounding coastline.
- Tandem skydiving: First-time jumpers can experience freefall while attached to an instructor, subject to eligibility requirements.
- Photography options: Compare packages that include instructor-camera footage or an additional camera flyer.
- Beyond tandem jumps: The operator also advertises AFF training and fun jumps for licensed skydivers.
- Travel from Pattaya: Its website states that the drop zone is approximately one hour by road from Pattaya, making it a possible addition to an Eastern Thailand itinerary.
What can you expect?
A typical tandem experience includes a ground briefing, equipment fitting, an aircraft ascent, freefall, a parachute descent and landing. The operator advertises packages with different photography inclusions, so visitors can choose an option suited to their preferences and budget.
Who is it best suited for?
Official Skydive Thailand is worth considering for first-time jumpers, adventure travellers and licensed skydivers looking to explore available skydiving experiences in Thailand.

3. Dropzone Thailand — Explore Skydiving in Rayong
Dropzone Thailand is another name to investigate when researching skydiving in the Rayong region.
When comparing its offerings with other operators, check the current operating schedule, aircraft, exit altitude, tandem package inclusions, instructor qualifications and availability of video and photography services.
Confirm its current drop zone details and booking arrangements before travelling.
4. Birds Paradise — Check Current Skydiving Availability
Birds Paradise is included as an option to investigate, but travellers should first verify its exact location and whether it currently offers public tandem skydiving.
Before recommending or booking this operator, confirm its operating status, current packages, equipment and instructor credentials, and recent customer feedback.
Final Verdict
For travellers comparing skydiving experiences in Thailand, Official Skydive Thailand is our featured first choice in this guide, based on its advertised coastal views, tandem experiences and range of skydiving activities.
Thai Sky Adventures and Dropzone Thailand are additional operators worth researching, while Birds Paradise should be considered only after its current public skydiving services are confirmed.
